Do you have a passion for plants, an eye for detail, and love working with rare plant varieties? We are looking for a dedicated greenhouse gardener who is passionate about building a career in greenhouse gardening and gaining hands-on experience in a growing, sustainable greenhouse.
At House of Botanique, we believe in offering sustainably-grown plants of the highest quality, helping to cultivate hygge and a touch of nature in every home. Before these plants find their new owners, they require dedicated care to ensure they grow strong and healthy. Every detail matters, from how they’re potted to how they’re watered and nourished. We grow a wide variety of plants, including Alocasia, Anthurium, Calathea, Philodendron, Monstera, and many more.
About you
- You are currently enrolled in a greenhouse education programme at a recognised horticulture or greenhouse school (like Kold College in Odense, or Jordbrugets UddannelsesCenter in Aarhus).
- You have a genuine passion for plants and an eye for detail when it comes to their care.
- You’re excited to learn and take on a variety of tasks, including plant care and packing orders.
- You are willing to learn to use our shipping system, Shipmondo.
- You’re available to work during the spring and summer seasons, with the flexibility to balance your studies during the winter.
- You’re able to recognise different plant varieties and spot subtle differences in their health and growth.
- You are proficient in both Danish and English, as both languages are required for communication in the team.
Your role will include
- Care for a wide range of plants, including rare and variegated species, by potting, watering, and fertilising them.
- Help with the packing and preparation of customer orders, ensuring each plant is handled with care.
- Collaborate with professional growers and well-established production partners to ensure the highest quality of plants.
- Gain hands-on experience in a variety of greenhouse tasks, contributing to a smooth-running team environment.

Practical details
We are looking for students on an ongoing basis, with flexibility to work around your school schedule. This position is for students currently enrolled in a horticulture or greenhouse education programme.
