Shipping Countries

We currently ship to the following countries:

  • EU
  • Switzerland
  • Lichtenstein

 – All Countries within the EU (Such as Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Netherlands, Sweden and others) except Greenland, Faroe Islands, Azores, Madeira, Ceuta, Melilla, Canary Islands, The Dutch and French Overseas territories.

Orders are processed every monday to avoid delays during the weekend. Shipping time is typically between 24-72 hours.

Shipping Carriers

We use the following carriers to ship our products:

  • Budbee
  • FedEx

All plants are always delivered as express delivery, meaning you will most likely receive you shipment within 72 hours after it has been processed at our packaging department. In Denmark when shipping with Budbee, we aim for next day delivery. FedEx DENMARK OVERNIGHT ships within 24 hours in Denmark. FedEx EXPRESS EU & Switzerland aims for 24-72hours. However shipments may take up to 96 Hours, in which our plants are cool proved for above freezing conditions.  

When do we ship your order:

We ship first coming Monday after you have placed your order, this is our measure to avoid unexpected weekend delays. Typically, you can expect to receive your order between Tuesday and Thursday after the package has been shipped.

Shipping time 

On average your order will arrive between 24-72 hours after we ship, meaning you will most likely receive your order between Tuesday and Thursday. For some destinations with longer distances from Denmark, you might experience delivery Friday.

Cold weather waning: 

We advise customers to check the weather of the delivery week before placing the order if you expect cold weather.           – If you are expecting freezing temperatures at your home address, we advise you to wait to place an order or contact us on info@houseofbotanique.com to organize a later shipping date. 

 – If you have placed an order and the destination address is located at a location with freezing temperatures, we will likely contact you regarding safe transport options.

To qualify for Quality Guarantee (shipping)  

            – Under 15 degrees Celsius (Minimum day temperature): You must receive the package in person.                              – Above 15 degrees Celsius, you may request doorstep delivery, claims must be filled same day of delivery.                 Reed more about our quality guarantee service and measures to qualify here



Shipping Fees

We currently offer free shipping for orders over 499 DKK equivalent to around 67€ EURO, in  Denmark offered by FedEx. Few postal codes on remote islands not connects with bridge to the mainland is subject to a remote fee. If you are eligible for free shipping, you will get the option when entering your Postal Code and adress during check out.

For the rest of EU we have free shipping for orders of value from 99€ or 199€. (A remote fee may be added upon check of if you live in a less accessable location like mountain ranges or islands smaller without bridge connection)

Free shipping over 499 DKK in Denmark.

Free shipping over 99 EURO in Austria, Belgium, Czechia, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, Spain and Sweden.

Free shipping over 199 EURO in Bulgaria, Croatia, Cypress, Greece, Malta, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Lichtenstein, Switzerland.

We offer attractive express shipment prices as well for those not eligible for free shipping. See in your basket or when checking out, after you have entered your postal code.

Please Note: We are operating our business from Denmark Odense so we will always follow the (GMT+01:00) Central European Standard Time (Copenhagen) time zone. We will process all products following (GMT+01:00) Central European Standard Time (Copenhagen) Mean Time.

Delivery Time = Handling time + Transit time

All the products will go through a production process, so there will be a handling time on them.

Handling time 1 – 2 business days
We ship all orders on Mondays, so you receive your package before the weekend, in order to avoid potential delays over the weekend. This is simply a precaution to help ensure the health of the plants during transportation. If you order before 7 o’clock (AM) on Mondays, we will ship it the same day.

Shipping time 1 – 3 business days (We ship orders Monday)

Shipping rate starts at 49 DKK with FedEx in Denmark. 

Shipping rate starts at 14,99 euro in Austria, Belgium, Czechia, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, Spain and Sweden.

Shipping rate starts at 19,99 euro in Bulgaria, Croatia, Cypress, Greece, Malta, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Lichtenstein, Switzerland.

Tracking Information

Tracking information is provided for all orders, please se provided in your shipping confirmation. You will receive your shipping confirmation when your order has been processed. We strongly suggest downloading the free Apps provided by the shipping carriers. Then you will be more easily notified on when your shipment is to be delivered and, in some cases, you will be able to select delivery time at an additional charge. This option will be provided in the App of the shipping carrier if eligible.

Lost or Damaged Items

If an order is lost or arrives damaged, please contact us on email info@houseofbotanique.com on the day of arrival or as soon as possible so that we can resolve the issue. In the rare case you should receive your plants damaged, you will have the day of delivery to submit an email, with pictures that proves you received the plant(s) in a damaged condition. If eligible you will have the option of a refund or a replacement if available.


We strongly suggest for you to be home for your delivery. In the case you accept the package to be delivered on the doorstep or likewise, House of Botanique or the delivery company will not be responsible for the shipment, and it will be regarded as delivered and accepted. We strongly suggest you follow the guidelines of the shipping carrier if you choose to do so. We strongly suggest you not to accept delivery to your doorstep or likewise on cold days, since most plants are cool sensitive, (Quality Guarantee will be lost if delivered to doorstep on days with temperatures below 15 degrees celcius).

Should you choose any option with the shipment carrier to deliver at a drop-off box or choose a delivery option that exceeds the 72 hour express delivery window from getting the shipment confirmation until delivery. Which we strongly advice you not to do so. Your right for a refund regarding damaged plants will be lost, due to the risk of harm on plants during insufficient shipping.
