Digital Marketing and Ecommerce Internship

As a Digital Marketing and Ecommerce Intern, you will work alongside our dynamic marketing team to assist with a variety of digital marketing initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to develop your skills in digital marketing, website management, and Ecommerce operations while contributing to our growth.
Key activites within our marketing team
- Ecommerce. Work with optimising product listings, creating promotional graphics, and helping improve the overall customer journey on our webshop. Assist with launching campaigns and seasonal collections. Monitor key metrics such as conversion rate, cart abandonment, and product performance to help drive engagement and increase sales.
- SoMe marketing. Work closely with the team to create engaging content for Instagram, Threads, Facebook, and Pinterest. Work closely with our team to implement campaigns to grow our audience and drive traffic to our website.
- Content creation. Design and produce visually appealing graphics for social media campaigns and marketing materials, ensuring alignment with our brand identity.
- Campaign analysis. Track and analyse digital marketing campaign performance using analytics tools, providing insights to optimise future marketing efforts.
- Product management. Assist in product management tasks, including taking high-quality product pictures and crafting SEO-optimised product descriptions to enhance online visibility.
- SEO. Learn and apply best practices for on-site and off-site SEO to improve search engine rankings and boost the visibility of our products in Google search results. This includes writing SEO-optimised product descriptions and ensuring all content aligns with our overall SEO strategy to drive more organic traffic to our website.
- Blog development. Contribute to the development of the blog section of our website by writing informative and engaging blog articles that resonate with our audience and support our brand’s messaging.
- Market research, competitive analysis and strategy. Conduct market research to identify trends and audience preferences, contributing ideas for new campaigns and product offerings.
Qualifications
- Currently studying Ecommerce, Marketing, Sales, or Multimedia Design at SDU or UCL in Odense, or enrolled in a similar university programme in Denmark. The internship takes place at Fangelvej 36, 5260 Odense S – just 5 minutes from the nearest bus station and 10 minutes from the highway. It is a full-time, 37-hour unpaid internship, arranged in accordance with your school’s requirements.
- Availability for at least a three-month internship, with the opportunity for a student job or part-time position at House of Botanique based on internship performance.
- Proficiency in English and Danish. Applications in English are also welcome as we are an international team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage with our community.
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing concepts and relevant tools (e.g., Google Analytics / Matomo, social media platforms, Figma, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign).
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities that contribute to innovative solutions.
- A strong desire to learn and grow in a collaborative team environment.
- A genuine passion for plants and sustainability.
