Web Design / Multimedia Design Internship

At House of Botanique, we’re dedicated to providing sustainably-grown, high-quality plants that bring hygge and a touch of nature into every home. With our digital team growing, we’re thrilled to invite creative, plant-loving Multimedia Design students to join us as interns. This role offers a hands-on experience in web design and eCommerce within a fun, innovative setting where creativity and a passion for plants go hand in hand.
As a Multimedia Design Intern, you’ll collaborate with our vibrant marketing team on digital projects – from designing engaging web pages and crafting eye-catching content to supporting eCommerce efforts. If you’re passionate about design, excited to develop your skills, and love the idea of working with plants, we’d love to hear from you! Key activites within our design team
- Web page design & content creation: Design and update visually appealing web pages and multimedia content that showcase our brand’s aesthetics and improve user engagement.
- User research & insights: Conduct user research to understand customer needs, preferences, and pain points, using feedback and analytics to inform design decisions.
- UX design & optimisation: Develop user-friendly designs to enhance the customer buying journey, ensuring smooth navigation and a positive user experience. Monitor how design changes impact key metrics like cart size and conversion rates, demonstrating the link between UX and sales.
- E-Commerce support: Assist with optimising product listings, creating promotional graphics, and supporting seamless online shopping experiences to drive engagement and sales.
- Digital marketing support: Contribute to social media visuals, email newsletters, and digital ad assets to boost brand visibility and engagement across channels.
- Data-driven design adjustments: Keep a close eye on how web design modifications influence customer behaviour, aiming for results that drive increased cart sizes and improve conversion rates.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a university program in Denmark, studying Multimedia Design, Web Design, Digital Concept Development, or a related field.
- Availability for a minimum three-month internship, with potential for a student job or part-time position at House of Botanique based on your performance during the internship.
- Proficiency in English and Danish; applications in English are encouraged, as we have an international team.
- Familiarity with design and web development tools, including Figma, WordPress, basic HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with project management tools to assist in coordinating tasks and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with our community and team members.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts and tools is a plus.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to help develop innovative solutions for our web and multimedia projects.
- A strong desire to learn and grow in a collaborative and dynamic team environment.
