Environment – The Philodendron Green Congo Variegata thrives in bright, indirect light but can tolerate moderate shade. Direct sunlight should be avoided, as it can scorch the delicate variegated leaves. It prefers temperatures between 18 to 30 degrees Celsius and benefits from a humid environment. If possible, place it in a spot with higher humidity, or use a gentle mist of warm water a few times a week to keep it happy.

Watering – Water the plant once a week, but be careful not to overwater. Let the soil dry out slightly between waterings, and always ensure that excess water drains away to prevent root rot. For mini plants (6 cm pots), 50 ml of water should be sufficient. Make sure to discard any leftover water to keep the roots healthy.

Leaves care – It’s natural for older leaves to yellow over time. When this happens, wait for the leaf stem to loosen slightly before carefully removing the leaf. If you notice droplets of water on the leaves, don’t worry—it can happen due to overwatering or higher temperatures, which is quite normal.

Fertilizer – Feed your Philodendron Green Congo Variegata with a balanced fertilizer once a month during the spring and summer. In winter, the plant slows its growth, so you can skip the fertilizer as it won’t absorb it as effectively during this time.
