The Alocasia Longiloba ‘Purple Vein’ gets its name from the bold purple lines running through its dark green, arrow-shaped leaves. These veins give the plant a unique and eye-catching look.

Care/Details
- Environment: Your Alocasia Longiloba Purple Vein will flourish in bright, indirect light. Choose a spot with plenty of natural light but shielded from direct sun to keep the leaves vibrant and healthy.
- Watering: Water weekly with 100-150 ml for 12 cm pots, ensuring the plant absorbs the water within a few hours and removing any excess. Let the soil dry slightly before the next watering. In winter, extend the watering interval to about 14 days due to slower growth.
- Leaves Care: It’s natural for older leaves to turn yellow. Gently remove them when the stem begins to loosen. If leaves start dripping, it may be due to overwatering or high temperatures. Keep the leaves fresh by misting them regularly or wiping off dust.
- Fertilizer: Feed your Alocasia with a liquid fertilizer once a month during the growing seasons of spring and summer. Cut back on feeding in winter as the plant’s growth slows. Keep your plant in a humid environment or near a humidifier to ensure it stays happy and healthy.
