The Philodendron Spiritus Sancti is a rare plant, known for its long, sleek leaves and deep green colour. Native to the Espírito Santo region in Brazil, it naturally climbs on other plants or trees to grow, without taking nutrients from them. Instead, it gets moisture and nutrients from the air and rain. This unique growth habit, along with its striking appearance, has made it a favourite among collectors, earning it the nickname “The Holy Grail” of philodendrons.
Thought to be lost to the wild for many years, it was rediscovered in 1995, making its return to cultivation a significant event for plant enthusiasts. Its elegant, minimalistic leaves add an exclusive touch of luxury to any space, making it a showstopper in any plant collection.

- Light: Place it in bright, indirect light. Too much direct sun can scorch its leaves, while low light can slow its growth and affect its vibrant leaves.
- Watering: Water when the top inch of soil is dry. Keep the soil slightly moist but not soggy, and always ensure good drainage to prevent root rot.
- Humidity: This plant loves humidity. To keep it happy, mist the leaves or place it near a humidifier, especially in drier conditions.
